Know Deb
Debra “Deb” Duval is a Brooklyn-based artist, music devotee, and entrepreneur. She founded Vulpes Creative, a studio that blends fine art with branding, strategy, and creative direction.
A self-taught oil painter, Deb channels her emotional landscape into vivid, layered works that confront themes of anger, loss, and isolation. Rooted in personal experiences of betrayal and a restless journey across countries and states, her paintings reflect both displacement and resilience. With bold, saturated colors that clash against somber undertones, she seeks to evoke a visceral response, drawing viewers into moments of beauty that unsettle as much as they move.
Deb’s start in the music industry began alongside David Frangioni, CEO of Modern Drummer and longtime collaborator with Aerosmith, KISS, and Ozzy Osbourne. Advancing quickly into project management, she contributed to recording studio builds, multimedia productions, and creative ventures across music, entertainment, and publishing. She later served as studio administrator and head of marketing at a world-class recording studio in the Cayman Islands.
In 2025, Deb committed fully to painting and creative consulting, channeling her industry experience and artistic vision into Vulpes Creative.
